I was a ph1 owner before you even knew what one was
It's not trying to make something look like something, the ph1 strips are utter pov spec off of a standard 1.2 8v or whatever, the smoother, far more modern, and far more in keeping with the styling of the car ph2 strips look so much better it's unreal.
It's the shape that's vastly superior, oh, and the badges, none of this colour coded lark though, just original proper silver badges. Lovely.

I did Goodwood again in August. Car suffered with a naff misfire all day so i didn't do many laps, but someone did take a pic or two.
It's since sat in my garage and hasn't moved, so i've not even fixed the misfire! It's got a set of 197 cams, some Meg injectors and some ARP's sitting on the drivers seat though.

Actually I think I see your old one on gumtree rob? Looks similar with ph2 dash and same wheels but different colour. Can't find it now.

If you look at the bottom of page 1 of this thread there's a car that looks awful similar, only cared for and cherished. Looking forward to getting it up the road.
