Yep - looking like the end of March it would seem. Goodness knows what the initial availability / stock levels will be like though.I think it will be, I heard rumours for March.
We can only hope so!...but surely Intel will have to bring their prices down?
Global memory prices are on the up at the moment mateHow much has RAM gone up in price? I got 16Gb for £113 in December. The same RAM is now £147.
Was gonna buy some to fill my spare 2 slots but thats put a dampener on that.
Watching him in his server room (if you can call it that) is horrifyingI don't know who here pointed me in the direction of LinusTechTips but f**k me it's amusing watching them f**king up expensive stuff.
Can't wait for that watercooled server to piss itself all over their petabyte storage array.
It's going to be remortgage your house expensive and stock will still be impossible to get hold of for a month, because nvidiaSo the 1080Ti is official. Release date of 6th March and 35% faster than the 1080 it supersedes.
Hopefully not too expensive for us Brits.
1080 was near enough $ and £ match iirc? So probably 700 quids699 dolla, directly works out at 560ish quid, add another 100 for being imported and it doesn't seem too bad. I was expecting 750-800 quid.

@Wilkeh Nope!?
Aftermarket for me - there are some better deals and performance figures to be found.Those going for the 1080 Ti, which ones you going for? Founders edition or aftermarket?
nVidia, in light of AMD's recent announcements, have reduced the 1080 range by around 100 USD. But there may well be a few cheaper ones on the market as folks look to move up to the 1080 Ti... I will have a practically brand new 1080 Founders Edition for sale. It's been in my machine for only 2 months and it's a beast. I don't really need the 1080 Ti but my man maths and business justification allows it1080s going cheap are they?
FLOL! 😊I meant on here, lol
