LIVE IS BEAUTIFULL especially when we drive a funny Renault Sport car and a Clio RS :star:

For my first post here, simply a video which resume until today the life of my Clio 2 RS ph1 between Novembrer 2010 and May 2012 (I'm his 3rd owner ;-))

YO everybody

Wanting to test the new frontal position (on my head ^^) of my small camera wide angle, high technology made in "Adhesive tape Scotch" :lolup:, I made a new small video in this afternoon

Arfff you should not be "seasick" LOL

I shall try to move less the head the next time ^^

To INDICATE, the fate doing sometimes well the things ^^, that on the same way as me, I ran and we made a part of the road together (2 in 3 km running in some fast accelerations ^^) with one Clio 3RS phase2 Black that you can see at the beginning of the video

Because there is not only Renault Sport in the life ^^, I post now an off-topic video not on my RS1 but on the test that I made in my city 2 months ago on the little Renault "City Electric car" TWIZY ^^

And the most powerfull Twizy80 (80 for its max speed about 80kmh, 84kmh precisly in my test, see the video)

it was a very funny test :clap:

Even if I speak in French of course (with a very nice accent from the South of France ^^), I wrote some English subs

Hello everybody

So, My last work in the engine is to eliminate all the returns of oil in the engine and the admission air

Already I have made this for the return of oil in the admission air (under the case "buttefly) by diverting the circuit towards a oil-catch tank and by blocking the entry under the case butterfly




For this last week I "attacked" the last return of oil which go in the plenum by bloking the small hole in the top of the decanter of oil (number 1 in the photo)

I prepared the things for that





You see in the next photo the joint dough which was in stock on the decanter of oil
I am going to clean because I bought the metalique joint that I prefer




And the same decanter of oil after the cleaning






I visited my friend boilermaker to block cleanly the small hole by small welds





And I remounted all that this day
Torque for the screws : 13nm for the decanter of oil and 11nm for the plenum

Fast sanding with the dremel of letters and decoration RS of the plenum (which will not be painted)





Removal of all which I can and covering besides with adhesive paper made for that
Cover the letters of the plenum was a long work of precision but it's necessary to know what we want and I am a fanatic of the precision ^^






Admire the small socks - rags which will not serve me any more in their leading part of course :lolup:
Now It is necessary to wait that dries completely, to remove the adhesive, to sand at best with a very fine abrasive foam the letters RS of the plenum and to remount all that to see the final result

Some small tracks of 1 or 2mm of blue to be erased on the side of the upper line just under "Renault Sport ", but I find that makes better that the light blue before, that goes more with an engine and more with an atmosphere "dark colors" of the car and the engine

I was not able to put the logo because of adhesives dark black on the windows (we see nothing behind that ^^), thus I have to stick it on the rear bumper
