The single best 182 mod?

Exhaust for me the standard twin pea shooters look and sound crap.

Mine has 3" slash cut pipes and is rather loud a bit to loud on the motorway to be honest but good for waking the neighbours in the morning! Mine is a little bit wonky but does not rattle and still looks better then standard.

IMO it is a performance car and its standard exhaust note does not do it justice.

My best mod has to be NOT modifying it. Its a Clio, not a race car!

And as for the nonsense about the pea shooter exhausts and it sounding crap... at least I don't get deafened by a loud exhaust which also draws attention to yourself :)

^ gay :p lol

Mines a race car ;)

Mike, upgraded to the coilovers for the extra lowering capabilities, plus it was an impulse buy

Exhaust.

Blue flame quite when you want it, nice and vocal when you floor it and fully adjustable to correct wonkyness!

lol yeah was a bit Stromba that wasn't it... although he would have started talking about the rally conquests, his 18 inch pythons etc etc yadda yadda yadda ;) pmsl

best mod for any car after yesterdays track fun must be brakes, how I wish I had 4 pots yesterday... or even brakes full stop would have been nice...

So if you like it because its fast whats wrong with modifying it to go faster?

I know gains for an exhaust are small but IMO cars nowadays do not sound like they used to.

My old 205gti with no cat sounded nice. With all the rules and regulations a comparable car 15years later sounds muted and not special at all. If you are into fast cars then surely a bit of exhaust noise adds to the experience?

I can't see how and induction kit would raise MPG? To my knowledge the ECU has to dump more fuel to prevent the engine from running lean.

The only mention of increased MPG I've noticed in this thread has been regarding the ITG Panel Filter, which isn't an induction kit anyway. Saves you money because you don't need to have it changed every service, and the car does run ever so slightly better with it in.
