Did we!!! The small villages of the lakes didn't know what was happening!

There was only one total "DICK" of the weekend and that went to Mr Mondeo man who didnt appreciate waiting for 9 vee's to get parked up! But of course as soon as his horn was heard, we all took a little longer to park up!

PMSL - what a superb move! That Astra must have been on a 40 degree slope. I was going to take a picture but thought his car might roll over onto us if we waited too long!

No one has mentioned Mr. Escort Cab either........vvvvrrrrooooooOOOOMMM!!! I bet he gave it the big up to his mates at Maccy D's that night "... aye, feckin nailed a full row of Vees wiv me Ford POWAH!" I was so close to dropping mine into third and following him..... but then realised that I'm 32 and a bit older than 7....

Hey.. watch it young'un.. LOL.. I was on here WAY before that too! Got my 172 Exclusive in April 2001 and was using the chat forum that used to be on here about that kind of time.. I'm sure i was a member before 2003 too, but the forum changed, and so did my recorded joining date. I remember the first forum organised meet being planned in Southend too!! Jeeez.... how old do I feel!!

Ya know what Darren, you're not too far off there. My 182 was a fantastic car! If i could've afforded to keep that AND the Vee.. i would've. Such a chuckable little car! did the odd track day in it.. Great!!
Looking at hopefully getting another ph1 sometime early next year to mess about in! Miss them in a way, i can see why some people have gone back to them after vee ownership. But i wont be doing that.. i want my cake AND to eat it! hahaha...

Hey.. i remember going to the French Car Show when i had my 172.. it was in a field at an old manor house.. Lutterworth i think.. How is changed now!! We still had about 30 cars there tho! Happy days!
