i parked in a multi-storey car park while i was a work and my ANTI THEFT aerial got nicked and they pulled the thread completely out!!!
Luckily my brother works in the business and he got me a renault base for my aerial cheap. but it turns out it has to be conected under the roofing in the interior of my car because there is leads that make the reception spot on!!!! Well i say b*llocks.. so now i will have to take it to a dealer and it will cost me a chunk of dosh..

just my luck.
Does anyone know how much it will cost?

That is a complete b!tch!! one of those aerials is only about £20 if that and these theiving pikeys take em.

Sounds to me that the best idea would be too not lock the anti theft aerials as it does more damage when people trying to nick em.

I replaced the aerial stump on my old clio, just a bit of a pain to have to reach into the roof lining. Aerial stump was only about £9 IIRC

Diss, just surprised that would happen in riverside, Anglia square yes but I thought riverside was pretty secure.

my have to remove the middle seat belt and theres a round plug in the roof you need to remove should be enough excess and then the right hand trim where the parcel sheft solts in to.

bit random, went ot halfords to buy a renault aerial and non would fit the cup so i tried my mums VW polo one and it fit ?? then i went to halfords and bought a standard vw one and hey presto it fits and is nice and cheap looks ok.

can i call my car a hybrid yet ?

i'm based in Watford but travel to Norwich a fair bit as we have an office on St Crispins Road. I'm up tomorrow but the Trophy will be at home as i have a hire car
