things to checkafter cambelt?

Hey all,
Getting the cambelt and aux belt changed today on my ph2 172.
Is there anything i should look out for/check when i get the car back at all?

I'm looking at getting mine done in a week or so, probably going to send it the RS Tuning. So basically I will need to check for abnormal noises etc?

sounds about right, the place im getting it done give a 2 year warranty on the parts and labour so should be ok

Any funny noises, whining, tapping, flapping noises (loose belt).
But if they dont do it correctly you wont have much of an engine left to worry about ;)

not a dealer no, just like a local garage who specialise in french cars
think my dealer wanted 700
 
I've had mine done and there is a slight whine, im a bit worried now. What should/ could i ask Renault to do to stop the noise?

£700 sounds about right from reno. i to got my belts changed by a french specialist for £468.00 no probs as yet (that was 1k ago.)

i get a rubbing noise from one of my belts when its cold only started happening when i put my inlets back on? its not rubbing all the time just on and off

Could be anything tho, all the many tensioners, aircon etc have bearings in them, if the bearings fudged that "could" be causing it

the whirring could be the tensioner settling in as well if its new? im unsure on the clio if they are hydrolic or spring....either way if its done up to tight it can cause a whirr too....give it a few miles and see if it dies down....

if its an old bearing and not been changed, get it changed ASAP

i have new cambelt, auxbelt and their stuff...
its whirring. dont know which one it is. new tensioner it stiffer than used one, maybe its that, i hope. if its too tight cambelt, should i be worried?
