It all sounds like general stuff to me cheers guys, The Renault dealer faxed me the details of the previous owner today so i gave him a call, he was a photographer slightly older then most Clio owners lol so that was good he said the last service cost him 900 and no expense was spared on the car, he bought the car when it was 1 year old. He's just bought a new RX8 and loves it.
I also got to see the car when it was up on the ramps and it looked clean to me.
If that's true it sounds likely the belts have been done.
.
I just wish i could nip back down to see the car again but its about 8 hours away, I always think I forgot to check something.
Aye its funny how everything you think about disapears soon as you get to the car lol
Lol! The sensible thing to do would be to write a list of everything to check before you leave your house. Saying that though I've never done that myself.
Very good idea mate! I had my old boy with me (he's a mechanic/engineer) so I was kinda lucky when I went to look at the 172!
I would recommend taking someone mechanically minded, it'll pay dividends when
it comes to future maintenance!
Its got a 2 year warranty? Who is that with mate??
I cant wait i feel like a kid on christmas eve, I wouldnt have a clio as my main car as i'm into bigger cars but i cant wait for this thing to come home its a great car for the mrs, certainly better than her old Fabia SDI slowest car i have ever driven but well built.
Lol. And you'll have a decent drive back if you're 8 hours away from it. 5k kick FTW!
Have you paid extra for the 2 year warranty?
Well you know what they say, no car goes like someone elses car lol
Lol! Very brave posting that mate and yes they will say what they think on here.
LoL very good Sir, I jest when I ask for images, you delivered, its niiice.
Not sure if mine has had it or not really to be honest.
7 years old now as well. Should get it booked in really.....
