Thinking of a V6...

  3 Delta Integrales
Howde - NEWBIE ALERT lol...

Thinking about selling my current car(s) and getting a V6, its either that or a VX \ elise...

Do you guys have a buying guide? things to look out for? it will probably be a Mk1 unless the grale bits sell for a touch more...which could happen given the market.

yup, i saw it on pistonheads...

I need to shift the grales first though... ;) that could take an age! but yes, yours is an ideal candidate.

haha no chance!

the evo may be going this weekend, the 16v next month, and the other needs my trick engine taking out, and a normal one fitting to sell...

But no harm in getting some background info early, hopefully, should get one as a nice xmas prezzied to myself!

Very sensible indeed. Do as much homework as you can, and even see if you can blag a ride/drive in one.

I went out in one yesterday & I loved it to bits :approve: It was noisy though (i'm not used to the engine being behind me) but i'd live with that !

You missed a plug James (Dash);)

I don't think it would be quite proper to plug v6clio.net as the number one v6 owners club at every given opportunity.

They are nice Mr Clarkson said he would have one in his imaginary ten car garage and he is the expert I guess. Mr Stig also seemed to love it lots and lots, so go for it.:D

Fuel Consumption

Urban - mpg
18.3

Extra Urban - mpg
31.0

Translated into

Fun = 18 mpg

Boring = 31 mpg

Much the same as your Integrale from what I read.

Don't do it, Matt!

If you really want an impractical car, buy a Caterham (or Elise if you're a big girl).

Well I have one that I have had for a while, i bought an Evo to restore at a good price, and then bought a 16v because it was a very good price, i've made money on them all, and thats what counts!

--> James.... Caterham - only if I could build it myself, i dont have the time, hence me not building the evo!

Elise and VX are on the list, but so are a few other things too...

Running costs and mpg - have you ever owned a 4x4 italian car lol!!!

I just need to get them shifted so i can get my paws on something new!
