Thinking of getting rid of the 182!!!

For a V6 :D. Whats peoples thoughts... Apart from the speed what would be the pros and cons... How much do you think it would cost me to do so... My 182 is 54 plate 5000 miles. In perfect condition...

ps have you actually driven a v6 ??, there not as quick as they look, but they do certainly get you noticed, in fact when i drove one i can certainly say i have never seen so many people look at a car i have drove before

I was looking at £8000-£9000 for a trade in on my cupped 182 (6 months old, about 6500 miles on the clock).

Spot on IMO - you do get noticed, but I was a bit disapointed that it didnt *feel* very quick.

£8.5k-£9k trade in is about right, so guess it would be around £15k to change. I was quoted £18k to change 6 months ago though!! (£9k for a 04 182 and pretty much list for the V6!).

there are better cars out there for the monney, but none of them look as good as the V6 ;) Im going to be getting rid of mine sometime next year, i want something thats more comfortable and better build quality. Just bought my Mrs a RX8 its such a comfortable well built car and as quick as the V6, and 6k cheaper than a list price V6.

Sounds like Im better off keeping the 182 then??? Just put some of them sexy flashing washer jets on... Sure that will turn more heads. It would then feel like a V6 :p
