Presonal preference has allways lied with AMD, but Intel are better by a little bit.

As for motherboards id go with ASUS of you want somehitng simple and reliable, if you want a good motherboard for overclocking then you need to look about a bit.
Look about for ram youself and seek somehting with the best mem timings and highest spec, or read some reviews.


Go to www.overclockers.co.uk if you want a good website for products. Not sure if its the cheapest though.

I got that exact AMD bundle (but bought the items separately to get call of juarez and came to the same price), can't give any impressions yet though as the mobo doesn't want to work with xp sp2 :mad: so getting vista instead. I've always had intel procs but was tempted by amd for a change, doubt there's much in it performance wise tbh but amd are generally cheaper
