this lens for motorsport

im looking for a budget lens for motorsport seen one like this on ebay that ends in 3 hours, is it any good?

Seems it gets average reviews - nothing special but should be ok - guessing your using a Nikon with motor and not D40/D60 as this will not AF on them.

You can pick up a new one for under £100 if you search google.

I would honestly spend a bit more on the 70-300 Sigma APO.

i just looked at that link for the sigma its within budget (just lol). is the apo much better that the nikon one?

The 70-300 AF will not auto focus - only AF-S lenses will. It will manual focus, but thats not ideal for motorsport!!!

The Siggy APO has a motor inside so with AF with your D60.

The 70-300 AF-S is well over £400!
