This phone message

Mate of mine updated their iPhone this morning and now whenever she sends a message to her husband she also receives a copy of the text with 'this phone' in the subject field. Anyone know how to turn this off?

I've searched google but can't find any solutions on there.

Just tried googling 'iPhone sending text to myself' and I got loads of results, answers vary from both users set up on same iCloud to changing group messaging settings etc, quite a few solutions in this link..

Tbh that site is f**king useless. I had already looked at it and the answers are irrelevant.
