whats the crack with em, do they fall off easy or what? i've seen a few posts mention them on here etc, just because it doesn't have the stickers on doesn't mean its had paint work does it? keep looking at clio 172 cups for sale, some have em some dont, its putting me off a few, then i think, what am i on about, cars hpi clear etc etc sounds good etc etc, should it put me off or just make me a bit cautious?

cheers in advance, going on the piss now!

I personally wouldn't worry about it. Its only the CS geeky losers that bang on about it.

As long as the cars straight, a bit of paintwork never hurt anyone.

But the stickers will not just 'fall off'.

If they're not on there, the cars had a new bumper.

Yup they wont fall off, which either means it's had paint be it to remove stonechips or a minor scuff or potentially got some proper accident damage be it bumper replaced or more serious.

What I don't understand is why the body shop's aren't replacing the stickers. Are the estimators blind ? With replacing/re-painting quarters panels, some cars have transparent stickers on them joining to the door and sill. These are always replaced yet they can't see bumper stickers.

  Now Sold :-(
I personally wouldn't dismiss a car because the stickers are missing. I would rather have a well repaired/painted car with missing stickers than a very badly repaired car with a replacement bumper bought from a scrap yard with stickers still intact.

The fact you are aware of the reasons why the stickers may be missing should only make you pay more attention when viewing a potential purchase.

I would say that you are being a bit to fussy. If they are not there, then just look under the bonnet to see if there is any other damage.Bet most of the time its just had a new or repainted bumper.Remember these cars are not new anymore.

If there is one you really like but it's missing these stickers just ask the seller why it's had a new bumper and go from there. More than likely it's had one.

When Renault sell the bumpers they don't supply anything other than the actual bumper and to anyone other than a RenaultSport nut it looks perfectly normal without any, it doesn't look like it is missing anything.
