Out track car is terribly hot. and you can not open the windows :(:(:(

I look like ive been swimming when i get out some times :(:(:(

Track/race cars are usually very hot, especially in warmer weather. Just have to get used to it - take on enough fluids and you should be ok.

i know these problems too, i try to explain one solution :

you can cut a hole (30-40mm diameter) in your mirror holder an the metal of your door behind the mirror, then you remove the cover inside the door.

then you can put a flexible hose in there, when you are on track the wind blows in the car, normaly i wear a helmet so i can put the airstream directly to it or a little below to the suit;)

have to say, i´ve done this to my old opel (vauxhall) vectra, my track b**ch

I drove my car yesterday to pick up a few bits and pieces. It's got no AC panel (I have replaced the heater matrix and dashboard with Mk2 versions so I need to do some wiring before I get the luxury of moving air through the vents again).

It was horrible! (And I don't even have a roof!)

Mine is unbearable sometimes mate! Its either baking hot or has ice on the iside of the screen and icicles on the roof!

I havent noticed in getting too hot. Although I was stuck on the M4 for about an hour the other week, and the area above the exhaust got bloody hot!

Should be good in winter ;)

This is why you need to keep some cooling and heating in the car...and so the vents work; the dashboard as well. Pet hate is people who remove dash boards. Nooo neeeeeed.

Here is the interior of a proper track car. Mmmm nice dashboard, OEM air vents + a tidy looking hose to blow air at the driver (can be seen behind the steering wheel), no doubt connected to an aux. fan with a switch to turn it on/off or a bit of extra cooling.
