Thought iI wanted a Cup but ended up with...

Long story shortish I left the Clio Sport scene 2-3 years ago and ever since have wanted my old sport back. Thought I wanted a Cup but after viewing a few all over the country I couldn't find 1 I'd be happy with. All the Cups in my price range that I looked at (upto £4500) had either been ragged, neglected or chaved. I've always had a thing for the phase 1's but didn't want 1 a silver 1 (nothing wrong with silver btw) so when the above car came up for sale (46'000mile minter) I shot down to see it (400+ mile round trip) and the rest is history. On the drive home she performed perfectley and even though most of it was on the m1 I had a big grin on my face! :D

Here she is...

when I get chance to give it a wash I'll post some of my own pics up.

Liking the sudden influx of the Odyssey's lol. Always thought there should be more around given how many were produced. Looks like another minter. :)

Gave it a quick clean today...

:)

I wasn't sure if it was Odyssey blue or Monaco!? It is a lovely colour which ever it is.

The Ph1 only came in Odyssey blue; it is confusing though - Renault have way too many blues in the Clio range! :)

nice rare colour, although it does seem to be appearing more and more now!

See I thought the same, but if you look at the RS heritage site there's 934 Titanium, 117 Pearl Black and 116 Odyssey, so there should be a few about. Plenty of Pearl Blacks in the club anyway! My theory is it looks a lot like a 'normal' colour so there's more chance that they were bought by more sensible people and kept for longer lol.

Looks in good condition for it's age, very few around I imagine that are kept that well.

It's strange seeing one without orange bits all over it though...

  PH1 172
so your the bandit who stole it off PH - you got in good and quick! wanted this car myself! health to drive mate!

It's nice I just see ph2's as a big step forward in looks and interior. All imo of course.

  RS RIP
looks like you drove it out of the showroom.. pretty low mileage aswell , good decision

Welcome back to the Going+Throwing :approve:
