Throttle Bodies ECU question (again)

  182/RS2/ Turbo/Mk1
Just so u now man the mpg on my dash with my gen90 and itbs dose not read any were ner right think its down round 10mpg on the dash and I'm getting around 35ish mpg in the real world

I'm sure that changing a Single scale value would correct that.

If you're going with AT bodies and want an ecu that's easy to install, map and remove if you want then Gen90 every day of the week.
Regardless of K-Tec's ability to map a car the ECU is cracking. RS Tuning will map it for you so I don't *think* you'd need to buy the software as they already have it - give them a ring.

There's only about 3 people on this forum I'd trust to map a car - it's an expensive procedure relatively and not something you want cocking up otherwise all the money you've spent on bodies/ecu you might aswell have just thrown out the window

  R5GTT, 2L turbo
its only a premium if its significantly more expensive than competition thats even remotely close as a product :)

£400 more than an adaptronic which doesnt even have ignition drivers in it is not a lot more to spend for SO much more of a product.

Hi Ben, the world would be a boring place if everybody had the same solution don't you think ? Sometimes it's about a customer wanting their car to be tuned by or looked after by a specific company or individual, and not about the almost arbitrary choice of hardware. The Gen90 works very well, it has been the calibration that let them down in some cases. I always tell folk (honestly) that they should choose their tuner first and ask them which platform they prefer to use.

But really, somebody independant and sufficiently qualified should assemble a pros and cons spreadsheet of standalone options for the Clio RS. After all, motor clubs should be about making sure their members have good information so they can choose the best option for them.
