Why can't I find ITB with fly by wire anywhere? Are these made anyway?

Would be intresting for the people wanting a increased bhp and torque, but want to keep the ESP/Cruizzz controle/etc.

iirc you have to source bodies from a car such as an m3 or something which already has fbw bodies, unsure if you can get off the shelf fbw tb's

Would be nice, not that I will do. Don't like spending too much on my 172.

But what about jenvey or what with attached the normal fbw motor, instead of the cable operated?? Guess opening 4 valves isn't that much harder for the motor?

Cable throttle body is much nicer only reason to keep the drive by wire of make it work the bodies (which could be done) would be for cruise control but IMO anway its so much effort and you could have cruise control with cable bodies (best of both worlds) but the cost would be a lot.

The probelm would be you need to get an aftermarket ECU to run then and none of the aftermarket ECU's on offer let you run electric bodies for liability reasons. The ones which do arn't likly to be road legal.

I would have thought aftermarket bodies were cable because it is cheaper to produce and you can fit them to any car using standalone ECU. I doubt fly by wire setups between different manufacturers are the same so designing ITBs for every application would be a nightmare.

Also the standard ECU needs a MAP sensor reading which you dont have on most ITB setups.

For throttle response reasons I understand, but with the 4 butterfly valves opening there is a faster response right? (just like fitting a bigger single throttle body)

If you can keep standard ecu (which I think you could with fly by wire, as long if the electronics are up to spec) You could not only keep your cruize but also the ESP/ABS (althou I barely use them, I would like to keep myself safe as possible)

I thought I read here before that the ecu could be programmed with MAP and without. (here I don't know if it is standard Ecu or aftermarket)

If yeah lots of ifs, if this is all possible it could save some money.

standalone ecu -600+/-
cable throttle -150+/-
