How does it come off, I know it's on the back of the block, but thats about it. The haynes manaul talks about depressurinsing the fuel system before attempting it, which is something I've never heard of having to do to take it off.
I have the 1.4 16v which I believe is the same/similar layout to your own, I also did not de-pressurise mine when I took my TB out (I think that may be relating to removing the intake manifold and injectors) The first step is to remove both the bolts holding your coolant bottle in place and move it to the side - This gives you some room to get the air box out. Then detach the silencer on the intake (There isn’t any bolts holding this in) From here remove the 3-4 bolts holding the air box onto the TB and block (They are star shaped and fairly long) Then push the airbox back towards the windscreen and it should pop off the TB, then move it towards where the coolant bottle was and pull up. You should now have all of the intake piping removed before the TB out of the engine bay. There will be a cable plugged into the TB, you need to remove this and also two bolts under the TB, taking these out will free it up and allow you to take it out the car to clean ect) If you are not comfortable I would not recommend as with all engine work but it’s a fairly simple process. Naturally I accept no responsibility for any damage done during the removal
