Throttle Body

Whats the best way to clean it? Just put some carb cleaner all over it whilst the cars running?
Take it off? Is it a simple task? ie unbolt, bolt on??

Take it off.


- Unbolt jubilee clip attaching the 90* bend to the airbox.
- 4 x 10MM bolts in each corner and it will come off.
- Unclip the connector at the bottom.

Will take you a minute to do.

Once off, just hold the butterly and clean through it with an old rag. I used some brake fluid as i had it lying around. People use petrol of anything really.

Just wondering should the buttery valve be easy to open or should there be a bit of resistance?

Bit of resistance. Its the spring resistant.
