Throttle pedal??? Cable or what???

My throttle pedal goes to the floor and does fook all!!

is it a cable on a 172 02 plate??? or is it electrical??

Check that the plug on the top of the pedal hasn't come off.
Its unliky to be a faulty wire as there two position senors with seperate wiring so for both of them to fail is unlikly.

if the sensor goes it normally throws up a pedal potentiometer circuit fault (DF129)

clean the throttle bodt with carb cleaner or suchlike it may help

Now tried that, there are 2 plugs, one plugged in one not which doesnt seam to have a place to go!

Dunno what else it could be!
