Throttle Problem

The trophy starts OK but without any intervention the throttle constantly blips to 3k rpm without me touching the pedal.

Pressing the throttle seems to have no effect.

RS Tuner is showing the following faults :

DS 0002 TPS Sensor
DF 0226 Electronic throttle control learning fault.

ABS +wiggly line+ EML lights are lit on the dash.

We fitted a second hand throttle body. Car started Ok and we let it idle for 30 minutes. Took it out for a test drive and it was running fine. After a further 5 minutes driving the fault came back.

Refitted the original throttle just to check - but the fault is immediately present.

Anybody got any ideas on this ?

Unlikely, but two duff throttle bodies maybe?

Sure someone will be along with some facts.

Are RS Tuner fault reading reliable? Wonder how they would compare to the faults shown up on CLIP.

update: fault occurred on the third throttle body, changed pedal throttle sensor and that made no difference too

Poor connection on the throttle wires in the ecu plug in the bay, wiggle them around see if it clears
