THROTTLE & THROTTLE CONTROL BODY

Hi,

i have a problem with the fuel injector light and engine management light coming on and putting the car in limp mode. This happens sometimes once a month or ten times a day its completely random. I have to flight the ignition off quickly to reset the electrics. The garage have told me its either the throttle that needs replacing or the throttle control body, they said they would start with the throttle as its cheaper than the control body.

Can anyone help? is this right or is their anything else that can be done?

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body?

Mine was very simular and cleaning it seems to have helped a lot

yeah the garage i took it to did that and i seemed better but not for long... it stopped recently for a month or so but is doing it again. also with flicking the elecs on and off all the time it sets the fuel light off even when is know where near empty laughs...
