Thumb grips for ph2 wheel

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
Apart from buying the K-tec version (or whoever makes the carbon ones) or a new wheel where can I get these for reasonable money?

A retrim would be a good but as I use the car a lot its not really viable for me to send the wheel off to be done unless I get another wheel and boss which will be costly.
Have other people used a sort of putty before, as I'm sure I read on here about someone using that kind of thing which filled the rips/tears and matched the colour reasonably well?

What's actually wrong with it? i just stuck mine back down with Gorilla Glue ( has real gorillas in so super strong ) and 2 months down the line still perfect.

its torn and ripped, and pieces have actually come away so theres a hole in the right hand grip about an inch long. Not really repairable without using a putty or something?

Best bet in all fairness, can't remember the name but a trader on here actually refurbs them for around £120 and the pics looked like awesome work too, or get on ebay, down the breakers and try your luck with one being broken.

the work does look good but its not really viable for me due to him needing the wheel and then i'd have to get a spare one so I can drive the car. All the wheels breakers seem to have are over the 100 quid mark which is retrim money anyway.
Just fancied having a go myself as I've seen pics of peoples work but have never known what materials they have used to do so

I picked mine up for £70 that's with the air airbag.

Can normally pick just the wheels up for £30.

If do that, send it off for a refurb. Then swap it for yours once its done and returned to you

I wouldn't attempt it unless you are skilled at it mate, best cheap fix is the crap carbon ones that stick on, but again they look crap and cheap.

I dont mind that kind of money so much, was that on ebay or here?

On here mate. I just put up a wanted thread. Ask for one cheap as possible in any condition.

Snappy (member on here) will retrim it for you. Sending mine off to him soon. Is on holiday at the moment.

does look awesome to be fair, does he do coloured stitching? Think orange would work well in some areas

Spending £120 on a Snappy retrim is well worth it. Months later and it's still my favourite modification on the car.

Makes more sense now then. Just couldnt justify the price of a new wheel but now I know they are cheaper I can look into it
