Ticking/tapping noise from the engine

its a m reg 1.4rt, just starting to notice problems now im driving it..

when its idling its quite noticeable but not past 3k
its like noisey tappets on a fiesta but not as aggressive. just wondering if the engines likely to packup soon
..

its the second problem ive noticed in 48hrs! :| im so tempted to chuck it and buy a new car this weekend..

any help would be appreciated

yea it would be the energy engine.

theyre all noisy really, nothing to worry about
