Time for a service



  Mk1 Clio
Car just gone over 92K

Major service this weekend.

What do you recommend ?

Brakes (pads + discs) all round
Oil change + filter
Fuel Filter
Gear box oil change
Brake Fluid change
Dog bone mount
Panel Filter Cleaned
Poss new SS Exhaust if I can get on in time.

Think of any thing else ?

Brakes (pads + discs) all round / Dont bother if they are in good nick, but would be a good idea.
Oil change + filter / also you could take off the rocker cover and give that a good clean.
Fuel Filter / this help my older car a lot when i changed it.
Gear box oil change / as did this
Brake Fluid change / brakes will improved 100% with a change if the old fluid is more than 4 years old
Dog bone mount / again dont bother if its in good condition
Panel Filter Cleaned
Poss new SS Exhaust if I can get on in time.

Think of any thing else ?

Flush coolent system
Spark plugs
change HT leads and dizzy cap
Lubricate all hinges and locks
change exhaust mounts

depends how much you want to spend..

Lube up the caliper sliding bolts (What i am in the process of doing now) if these sieze up you get ineffective brake distribution..

Full coolant flush will be done.

Will grease as much as I can during the weekend

Changed HT leads, Dizzy Cap and spark plugs 5k miles ago.

got £450 budget.

does any one know someone selling a 449 rear bumper from a valver ?
