I'm sick of waiting, but I'm not losing out by having it on a 57 plate. It's currently in the dealers pound. lol

s**t review, puts handling in the negative column (unruly), then bangs on about 'feelsome steering'!!

Possibly sensible rather than spending more money on the 182
Every kilo you shave off a car saves fuel and . Better still, the process of lightening reduces CO2 a car feeds on itself. Shedding some weight from a car’s body means there’s less car to stop so you can fit smaller, lighter brakes. Because it’s lighter, the car requires less persuasion to change direction, so you can fit thinner wheels and tyres without losing grip and you can take weight out of the suspension. And this lighter car needs less energy to maintain the same level of performance so you can fit a smaller engine that, guess what, will use less fuel and emit lower levels of CO2 Best of all, however, light cars are more fun to drive than heavy ones. They feel more alive in your hands, react more quickly to your input, make you feel more part of the experience.
If you drive it slowly the steering jumps about in your hands and you jump around in your seat because the suspension is unyielding and the engine truculent.
But if you drive as its makers intend, by thrashing the engine, slashing the gearlever around its six-speed gate and flinging it into corners, it’ll do things few cars, let alone £15,000 hatchbacks, could imagine.
I really need to see one in the flesh for me to like the looks of it more. All the promo shots I've seen of it (including the one on this review) look sh1t, imo. Like some rounded Korean fart-box motor.
.....and I'm Mr. White Car + Black Alloys = Heaven..... <---

That must be painful - trade plates ? lol

Not as painful as it being worth 5 - 7 % less due to being an 08 car on a 57 plate.

You've got some patience! To me 40 days of driving joy is waaaaay more important than losing 5% one day in the future, at the end of the day the values are going to drop like a brick anyway, you don't buy a Renault for its resale value. I guess I'm subscribing to the 'you could get hit by a bus tomorrow' way of thinking though.
