Timing belt change

What mileage/age does the timing belt need changed on my 2000 172?

Just been looking through the receipts and doesn't look like its ever been changed...:S

O, my car has 46000 miles

Timing belt is ever 72k or 5years the auxhillary belt is ever 36k.

Just had mine done as it was 5 years old, the guy in Renault suggested having the water pump changed as it's driven by the belt. So I say "OK". Just got the Renault service cd's, and I see that the pump's driven by the auxiliary belt....Ah well, you live and learn ! Cost me £332 all in, and took them a day and a half !

5 years or 72k mine just doen at 5years 3 months, belt waas starting to fray!!

My car 172 is a Y reg so 2001, I got mine done a good few months ago with my 36k service + replaced the waterpump. So yes well worth getting done asap
