timing belt changed

Is it normal to get a smoother ride and better response after a cam belt change?

was expecting the car to be a little jinky as it was not done by dealer, but have to say i'm very happy with the result- now just need a good service.

I had mine done by a good independent garage rather than taking my car to a stealer!! Not sure it feels any different though, but I always feel my car is smoother after an oil change but I expect it's all in the mind!
In my opinion an independent garage values your custom far more than a Renault dealer and it's very easy to build up a really good relationship with them and they'll always help you with any niggling problems!

i had a really nasty whining sound on start up and on lift off from 2.5k revs. the camblet, aux and bearing solved it and now its so much more better.
