Timing belt

offically 5years from new or 72Kmiles (whichever is first)

but engines have failed before this time, so i say 4years 60K to be safe

Appears to be a total lottery. Personally I stuck to the 5yr 72k rule. I have seen some fail early, but whats the percentage? Minimal.

However I do a lot of miles, perhaps if it was just a weekend car I'd get it done earlier.

The belt I removed looked fine and an all the tensioners and pulleys looked good too.

I had one noisey aux belt pulley, but I think that must have got water ingress, its was cattled.
