Timing out?

I had my cambelt changed 4 years ago at a small independent garage (not a Renault specialist)

If they did this and got the timing slightly out in fitting the new one, if I go to Renault for the next change, will they fit a new belt and automatically time it up correctly, or will they fit a new cambelt and I'll have to ask them to check the timing after to see if it's still possibly out?

The timing will be fine next time if the belt change is done properly, irrelevant of if it was before or not.
