"tinny" noise when reaching 2k rpm

i havea very tniny noise coming from the engine at around 2k. this doesnt matter whether i am in gear, moving, braking etc etc, so long as the engine is revving at 2k.

my first thought was that maybe the manifold is a little loose?

any ideas on what else it could be?

If it's only at 2k revs it sounds like something must be resonating due to the frequency of the moving parts, dude. I'd get someone to rev the car for you and then have a gander under the bonnet, see if you can spot anything that way.

lol

and tinny, as in tin the metal, not tiny ;)

i wish scottish :(

laura, i dont think my 1.2 is likely to have that problem as its plastic not metal :)
