tips for great exhaust sound?

hi, ive got a 182 and its got a miltec back setup on it (the one from ktec). i am considering buying the miltec decat pipe from ktec aswell in the hope to mayb make slight power increase (ino it will get very litle if anything) but im just after gettin it soundin abit meaner, popin and all that good stuff. do u think instalin a decat will do that? also would it be worth wile get it maped? it will only have miltec back section with decat, matched inlets and gen 2 k&n. what type of bhp compared to standard could i expect after the map. any advice on both things would appreciated, cheers.

decat will make it alot louder (obviously) if you are after pops and all that good stuff as you put it, what about an rs tuner pops and bangs map on as you need a de cat for it (which you are looking to buy) just my opinion

i havnt heard of that, i was just gona take it to a local rolling road spot and get it remaped. whats the story with rs tunner?

It is a box you can buy and upload it through a laptop with the wires connected to your ecu and basically uploading a map you want, this is the pops and bangs map albeit on a yozza exhaust

not enough to notice, tbh bud unless you go itb/turbo/cams/etc trying to get more power from the n/a engine is pretty pointless. all i have done on mine is yozza cat back, the new ktec induction kit and rs tuner with 98 ron map. and im happy enough with that tbh.

yeh i new it would b next to nothing, ive read alot about tryin to get power out of these and its seems imposible without itb, turbo ect. il go ahead with it tho coz the cars quality anyway so il have fun with the extra noise for abit. cheers for you help
