Is that a Pirelli P6000 ditchfinder on the back ? Did I read a thread about a spin the other day - running that tyre ?

That is indeed my pirelli road tyre. Well spotted. Not me spinning mate, must have me confused with a less talented driver! ;)

Toyo 888's are the track tyres!!

Sarah! my love!! Me and neil were saying how the red and pink clashed. The only option i can see in this scenario is Lexarse lights, but i'd rather put my c0ck in a blender than have a set of them!!

Maybe i could tint them black??

Ph2's would take away some of the red-ness.

Ooh ooh, tights... do it! Re-live the 90's with them and a nice DTM twin upswept exhaust.

lol.....the coincidence of that, i am intriqued to now know more about these tyres.

rich indeed you did read about something the other day about a certain incident, and guess what i have 2 ditchfinders on the rear......do you think they could of added to the problem?

could of saved me a bit of ££ if i had known

One of the worst tyres I have ever had the pleasure to use. They where standard on a hell of a lot of Pugs including the 306 GTi 6 and XSi and are know as ditchfinders in the owners club.

They seem quite hard and lasted ages, but it was possible to get the tail out easily even in the dry on roundabouts with the smallest of throttle lift even at slow speeds in the dry in my old XSi. That was a luke warm car and even in that inspired no confidence to push on in it running them.

well to be known as ditchfinders by an owners club can never be a good thing, lol.

when my back end went it wasn't like i had time to sort it, there was no tail tail sign it just wipped round,

think i will have to look into changing them in the very near future.

Sounds about right, there seemed to be no middle ground or progressiveness in the break away. Gripping or not.
