Thats a brand name, a bit like calling Pepsi by the name of "coke"

Epic stuff, but only for cars that are already fairly quick IMHO, as if you put it on a slow car then you end up using it too often.

Works SO well with a turbo, when the nitrous is active the T34 on this engine spools quicker than a T3 normally would.

There are far too many second hand cars that are well overpriced on ebay, autotrader and pistonheads. I would say we are now starting to see the inflationary result of the quantitative easing they did.

Happens all the time mate, i remember when I started driving in 2003, RS Turbos, R5GTT's, Rx7's were pretty worthless and now they are stupid Money, Especially the fords which in all fairness are a crap engine and a rust bucket.

Pretty soon you'll see the Pulsars creep up in line with Sunny GTI-R's, Starlets GT's are on the up now too, the rarer they get the more they are worth, there's always someone willing to pay these prices.

New cars are even worse for inflation though, 13K for a Corsa 1.2 LE???? Joke.

Rarity on its own doesnt bring value, has to be desirable too, and a 1.8 16v is never going to interest a collector the way a williams will.

Same as a 3 door sierra cosworth although a better car to drive than an RS500, will never be worth the same money. In fact not even half normally.
(for anyone who wonders what I mean the standard rs500 is a hateful thing, all lag and then no real power as so restricted, needs 400bhp minimum to justify the big laggy truck turbo)

If the cambelt has been changed, along with CS approved mods such as silver indicator bulbs, Sportlines, DS2500 pads with Brembo max discs and braided lines, its pushing the 10,800£ mark..

this is a silly price I paid £850 for my 16v aka valver 5 years ago which was a great price. They were great cars at the time but time has moved on but the seller is having a laugh trying to flog a rusty old Renault at that price !!!
