to turn off my monitor

can some one tell me how i can make a .bat file(or something else)
so when i run it it will turn off my monitor

Why dont u just press the off button ?

i want it so i can turn it off with my remote control
right now it goes into hybernate i want it to just turn off monitor
a .bat file will do it but i need to know the code/text
