Woke up this morning and went to renault to collect my boot lock that was burst so i done that and i fitted the new one all done and dusted.

Then posted up about a problem with my bonnet jet washers being very very poor so went to the scrappys and picked up some Citroen ones and then went to my mates unit and blew all the pipes with with the airline. The Citroen ones are so much better and really good.

Then decided to once again wash the car

Looks superb mate, I do like a mint trophy. Also u have OCD worse than me ;)

This must have the thinest layer of paint on any car on here with the amount you wash it lol

They spray the screen wash as a mist instead of a jet iirc.

Thats exactly what they do, They cover my whole windscreen and they are 100 times better than the Renault ones.

I bought cheap ones from ebay and they where so bad and just hit the scuttle panel and not the windscreen so as i said today i got them off a 53 plate citroen xsara

5 finger discount from the scrappys ;) I always meant to fit those washer jets to my 172 but never got round to it.

Ah cool. Are they the one that are threaded so have a little nut to lock them in?

Just thinking about the shape.

pop old ones old, these one in, connect tubes. close bonnet. job done.

NO adjustment, cutting etc needed.

Still thinking about a Trophy Gally?

When the TT goes a Trophy will be bought. :) Nice easy decision.

I'm excited about owning an R.S Clio actually. More so a Trophy. Hopefully it cone to fruition.

Dude, you cleaned your car again? You cleaned it yesterday you mad man!

Looks stunning though!

Track does nothing for me mate. I have no interest in costing myself money.

Especially when Mr Saxo out uses his lack of talent.

As I said quite excited about venturing into Trophy ownership hopefully soon.

Have you still got the Vectra Marc? I remember seeing your cars on VVOC when I had my GSI a while back.

Think I saw the S2 on a Ford forum too at some point, just sold my RS1600i to get another 182 last week.

You sold an RS1600i to buy a Clio?

A bit of me just died inside. Any pics?

Vectra Supertouring got sold for pennys, Escort has been posted on the RS Owners forum but never go on or use it. (The forum that is)

Gally im the same as you as i would only put my car on the track if it was just me on the track and no one else.
Im thinking about putting the trophy in the garage for a few months to keep it out this horrible weather and it gives me time to do other small bits to it.

As for the Washer jets they are a case of pop old ones out and pop new ones in.
I did manage to slice a chunk out my finger at the scrappys tho getting them out the citroen

Looks clean as ever Marc.

You have some dedication in these winter months!

Sure did,it sat for 6 months of the year and then gave plenty problems for the other 6 months.I did a top end rebuild last month and found it still had the same issues when I put it back together so txt my mate and he came round with the pound notes.I know what the problem was but just had enough to be honest, you get to a point where it's no fun anymore. That and the cost of parts for them these days is beyond a joke.

I'll post some pics in the proper section in a while.
