Just had my tracking done which has made it feel better turning in, before It was 0°08' total toe, now its - 0°14'total toe. Does a bit of toe out improve cornering turn in our is it psychological?

Yes it will improve turn in, although the difference there is so small I wouldnt be expecting to feel it on the road probably TBH

Generally you want a small amount of toe out on a FWD car, partly because when the car is under load it 'pulls' the wheels fwd and in turns pulls the toe slightly.

this is what i always thought to be the case. Still i always put a little toe in when doing the tracking as i like straight line stability when pushing hard. You achieve this by toe in. I'm going to keep it around neutral next time because i think the toe in is eating at my tyres pretty badly.

A little toe out makes a fair good difference on turn in, yep.
