Top display removal (time, temp etc)

Just got myself a new clarion head unit and they sell an interface so the display works and the stalk controls. The interface has a connection that plugs into the back of the display

Has anyone removed this and if so is it easy or a ball ache ???

This is info for a laguna but it says it is very similar to clio.

Very easy, takes less than 10 mins to get the top dash off. Guide in members area for it.

yeah take the dash off then it plugs into the red connector at the back of the display

Did it yesterday took about 1 1/2 all in. ( Old radio out dash off change lead put in new head unit and CD changer and refit.) Fitted kenwood head unit

A piller covers need to come out as well.

lol i didnt take them off and i was wandering why the bith didnt come off then i realised lol
