Top inlet manifold.

Hi all, I've got a spare top inlet kicking around in the house and my local spray guy said that he'll spray it for me. Now, is it alright to use normal 2 pack paint that any normal sprayer would use? And also can normal lacquer be used?

sorry as I'm not into all this spraying milarky lol.

Heat resistant paints your best bet ! I have a antracite one for sale ATM but they don't sell awesome so unless your fitting it I wouldn't bother mate !

I'm defiantly fitting it. Do you think I could use normal 2k?

Normal 2k will be fine. Inlet doesnt get that hot at all. About 60deg max.

​ps little advise make sure the inlet is a 172 phase 2 etc ! I found they are all different they hard way haha !!

Oh, how do you get the writing and lines different colour? Or will the sprayer know what he's doing?

Mask them off ! Mines all grey bar the 'Renault sport ' logo which is machined so nothing special !
