superchargers dont need very large intercoolers,
top mounts are used to reduce lag caused by all the extra pipework needed to front mount, (hence why the subaru has a topmount)
you could use a chargecooler as this would elimainate any lag whilst still avoiding a bonet scoop, imo that'd be the best route to take when supercharging as the main point of a sc is the lack of lag.
that was exactly my thinking. plus they are not to produce as much boost generally as a turbo would so another reason not to need a large intercooler.
chargecooling is a good option butnot the cheapest. New c/c's are about the £500-£600 mark. you can pick them up second hand but you are unaware of how efficient the pump is if the rad is still in good order and if the cooler itself is still in good nick and not leaking. generally tho they are fine and ive never had a prob with second hand ones.
or you could just buy a smaller air to air intercooler (grill mount would be ideal like the Forge GTT one). that way you dont have allot of expenditure and you have a pretty short boost circuit
