Top suspension mounts not budging!

Changed the back springs in about 25minutes.

Tried a deep 21mm for fronts, nothing.

Now have an allen key, and a swan necked 21mm spanner and it wont move atall!

Any tips?

Elbow grease.

Make sure the car's on the ground.

If it still won't budge, take it to a garage and get them to loosen it with a buzz gun.

Got plenty of elbow grease!
Things tightened solid!

Plenty of WD40.
Wirebrush the thread.

I know, I've done them on very old mk1's lol. Never,ever had to resort to a buzz gun though.

tried tightening first, then loosening again?

im guessing you cant hold the allen key. get a tube on the allen key(trolley jack handle etc) and also make the ring spanner longer buy using another spanner and locking them together.

My 172 i broke 4 allen keys, my 182 ons where hand tight lol

Taking it to the garage opposite me as i know the guy on sat to buzz gun them off for free, then im gonna fit them with a friend.

Backs were so easy though! 20mins tops for the backs.
