I have the same problem with mine. U start it, all the needles flicker up and down, makes a noise and the trip computer resests itself. Renault have done a few mods, but unsuccessfull, It has been booked in again. They have to have it for 1 week

Sounds like it is going into test mode, you arent hitting the trip computer button when turning the key are you ? that puts it into test mode.. beeping and the needles will move every second or so up and down.
