Topping up coolant level

Is it ok to buy some engine coolant from halfords and top up the level?

Just i had a look at it and it said on the bottle to drain and flush the system first, as using mixed manufacturers coolant isnt advisable.

Do i have to flush the system? or can i just whack some in?

How low is it?

Top it up with water, dont waste money.

What what I've read Halfords antifreeze is gycol based so mixing it with Renault antifreeze should be ok.

its just above min, just giving it a quick check as winter is setting in, though tuesday night was a very warm 13degC!

If its only that ammount you'll be fine to just top it up with water, it's only going to be 500ml at the absolute most.

You may have been no far off halfords price getting a top up from Renault mate
