Toshiba L300-1CU

Im looking at a friends laptop as is fooked. First / main problem is it wont boot at all. You get the Toshiba splash screen and then just a black screen with a static courser in the top left.

I cant even access the Bios or the Boot Manager at the start of the boot sequence.

Any one had any experience or known issues with these?

Forget it. All sorted. HDD had some how come loose lol
