Wasn't sure which section to put this in...
Anyway, back in March I had a trackday at Oulton and a slight collision with another car (he hit me). The only real damage was to the tow eye.
This resulted in it being bent upwards and to one side slightly.
I have another trackday coming up and i'm unable to screw in a normal tow eye due to the hole it goes into not being straight on in relation to the bumper, which means it catches the bumper as you turn it.
So i've got a tow strap instead, is the best way to mount this to drill into the slam panel and bolt it in or try and get it in to the standard fixing point?
