psh1 inlet plenham, t/b , TPS, throttle cable, cable pedal, psh1 gearbox as the psh2 speedo runs off the rear abs sensor which is managed through the UCH which is not part of the psh1 loom.

so you need the psh1 gearbox to run the manual speedo drive imput

if you're going to use a cable throttle setup then why not buy a phase 1 loom and ecu and ditch the uch and current hacked loom? then get the ecu decoded so it will run without decoder and key.

this is basically what ive done with the valver, although its not running just yet :clown: (watch ive probably cursed myself there lol)

This is exactly what we have done! We've got a phase 1 engine with a cable throttle and without a uch. All we did was got the ecu decoded and it started first turn of the key!
So technically all you need is a phase 1 loom, and ecu (not necessarly off the same car) decode the ecu and you're away, presuming you have a cable throttle body and it fits to your inlet plenim!

Why does it have to be ph1 loom and ecu? can i not do the same thing with the ph2 loom ecu and electric throtle body?

it had to be the Ph1 loom and ecu because of the FBW software on the Ph2

they do not need to be from the same Ph1 if you're going down that route though, just ditch the UCH and unlock the ECU

UPDATE-Well im not even sure if im still doing it witjh them but...It will running aftermarket ECU.The shell has been delivered and is now up our drive, Its a cat C mk2ph1 Very nice actually think im going to have alot of the interior in my car!The cup racer roll cage is also being picked up today!
