This car was built by a local motorsport specialist that i didnt even know existed till today and his workshops are less than 1 mile away LOL. Robert Shaw Racing built this from a shell and man does it go. Has a 6 speed sequential box, full cage and race set up

He has now become my dedicated garage starting with him designing a custom air intake whoo

I take it it was rebuilt as it was a crashed car as you can/could buy them like that.

Built from a shell? hhhhmmm methinks someone there has been telling porkies, the cup cars are built in the same renault factory as the the other roadgoing RS cars (172/182/cups/trophys/megane225s/V6s etc)

ah ha, mr Loony, what happens when the cars get smashed to bits???? did you know it takes 24hrs to reshell a cup racer?? new shells IIRC are about £1800ish

i think every cup racer has been reshelled at some point!!! LOL

Definitely a cup racer - was out at donnington at the RWS (couldn't miss the nobbys colours!)

normally about
3deg neg camber front (toe is upto the driver)
1.5deg neg camber rear (toe is normally 0 on rear, road cars are a tiny bit toed in)

Whats to say he didnt buy it new then strip it down and build this. He also does this with the new mini
