tips on getting the track rod end off the hub, all it seems to do when i undo it, is spin the bolt on the ball joint.

I and not actually unscrew,
probs because the thread on the end is abit rusty.

how are you meant to get the nut off without using an impact gun??

thanks

Gray motorsports helped me with mine.

Try using your jack to lift the suspension assembly to stop it spinning, if not then either use fire or cutting tools.

jack thing's easiest, although don't use it to lift the car as you may bend something. the balljoint pin's tapered, so just need to engage taper so that you can undo nut (doesn't help that they're nylock)
