Look at the back of the engine for what?
Track rods are part of the steering system, attached to steering rack.

What car firstly?

If a 182, the lemforder track rod ends from euro car parts are good and normally have a deal on. Here is the part numbers for both.

I did read that the inner lemforder ones are short. Unfortunately no dimensions are on there website to check but im sure someone will clarify. RPD have them on offer atm though.

They also have the track rod ends on offer too.

The OEM tie rods are about 320mm, if you wanted to use aftermarket parts.

I assume someone asking to look at the back of the engine was asking what steering rack was on it as the smi sticker faces you when you look down under the manifold from memory
